European Short Film Co-production Forum EURO CONNECTION which is a part of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Market (co-funded by Europe Creative MEDIA Program).

ShorTO Film Market *

Thanks to the collaboration with the Italian Short Film Center, one project presented at the Baltic Pitching Forum will participate in the pitching session You Only Pitch Twice during the ShorTO Film Market, which will take place in Turin in November 2026. The author of the project will be invited to participate in the industry event and will benefit from training before pitching to an audience of industry decision-makers in Turin in November 2026.

Producers MEDIA Award

The Producers Jury, consisting of three experienced producers from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania and one producer from a guest country – this year, Italy – will select the Best Short Film Project and award it with the Producers MEDIA Award* – a 1000 € cash prize. This initiative is co-organised by the Creative Europe MEDIA Desks in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Italy.

UP Records Sound Post-Production Award

Up Records studio, established in 1996 in Vilnius, offers a full range of post-production services for film sound, including dialogue editing, ADR recording, sound design, and final mixing. The studio, built to Dolby standards, is staffed by award-winning audio professionals capable of handling any creative task. One of the BPF projects will receive a prize of sound post-production services valued at €2,000.

SHORT RIGA Test Screenings Award *

SHORT RIGA Test Screenings, taking place in the context of Riga International Film Festival, is an industry programme aimed at short film projects in works-in-progress stage from the Baltics and invited countries. At the Baltic Pitching Forum, the producer and director of the winning project will be invited to attend SHORT RIGA Test Screenings 2027 or 2028, depending on the project’s timeline.

Baltic Talent Digital Strategy Award *

Baltic Talent Agency is a boutique agency representing top behind-the-camera Baltic creative professionals for international film, fashion, and commercial productions. One Baltic Pitching Forum project will receive a consultancy session with Baltic Talent to sharpen its digital presence for festival launch, covering EPK development, social media strategy, and consultancy on positioning materials for market and press. Session valued at €1,000. 

Baltic Film Schools Student Choice Award

Students from the three national film schools of the Baltic states – the National Film School of the Latvian Academy of Culture, the National Film School of Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy and the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School of Tallinn University – vote for the project they find the most promising. The award goes to the project that the next generation of Baltic filmmakers would most like to see made. If the winning project is shot in Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia, the film school of the host country will support the production with local assistance and with available students for selected crew positions. The scope of support is agreed with the school according to the project’s timeline and the academic calendar.
