BPF 2025 - BPF Prizes

The BPF Panel will award two short film projects with participant rights at the following events:

European Short Film Coproduction Forum EURO CONNECTION

European Short Film Co-production Forum EURO CONNECTION which is a part of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Market (co-funded by Europe Creative MEDIA Program).

This pitching and networking event aims at fostering partnerships between European productions companies, funders and broadcasters for short film projects. Pitching sessions and one-on-one business meetings are organised with participants. Each year, 150 industry delegates are expected to attend these two days of networking and deal opportunities.

At the Baltic Pitching Forum, the producer and director of the winner project will be invited to attend EURO CONNECTION* in February 2026 in order to pitch their project to a new international audience of industry professionals again.

EURO CONNECTION prize will offer awarded filmmakers the following benefits:

  • free accreditation for the full access to EURO CONNECTION, Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and its Market;
  • Networking lunch and social events;
  • Accommodation for 3 nights in Clermont-Ferrand;
  • 160 € travel grant
ShorTO Award - You Only Pitch Twice

Thanks to the collaboration with the Italian Short Film Centre, one project presented at the Baltic Pitching Forum will participate in the pitching session You Only Pitch Twice during the ShorTO Film Market, which will take place in Turin in November 2025. The author of the project will be invited to participate in the industry event and will benefit from training before pitching to an audience of industry decision-makers in Turin in November 2025.

ShorTO will offer the awarded filmmakers the following benefits:

  • A pitch training;
  • The opportunity to pitch the project in front of an audience of industry professionals;
  • One-to-one meetings with industry professionals selected by ShorTO team and tailored to each specific project;
  • Networking lunch and cocktail;
  • Accommodation for 2 nights in Torino;
  • Free accreditation  
Baltic Producers Jury will award one project* with:
Baltic Producers MEDIA Award

In 2017, Creative Europe MEDIA Office in Lithuania initiated Producers MEDIA Award to encourage experienced Lithuanian producers to cooperate with emerging talents, exchange their knowledge and best practices, and potentially produce short films together.

Since 2020, Creative Europe MEDIA Offices in Latvia and Estonia joined the initiative and Baltic Producers MEDIA Award has been established, continuing the same goals, as well as fostering active networking, cooperation and co-production between the Baltic countries.

Baltic Producers Jury, consisting of three experienced producers from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, will select the Best Short Film Project and award it with Baltic Producers MEDIA Award* – 1000 EUR cash prize.

Radiator IP Sales Distribution Award

The Radiator IP Sales Distribution Award consists of consultancy and guidance of filmmakers in creating a bridge between the production of film and its distribution to film festivals and beyond. The founder of the prize, Radiator IP Sales, has represented, distributed, and sold a total of 200 short films and several feature films to date. The films have been selected and awarded at multiple international film festivals, including Berlinale, Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, Sundance, SXSW, Locarno, and Venice.

UP Records Sound Post-Production Award

Up Records studio, established in 1996 in Vilnius, provides a full range of post-production services for film sound, including dialogue editing, ADR recording, sound design, and final mixing. The studio is built to Dolby standards and is staffed by award-winning audio professionals, such as Saulius Urbanavičius MPSE, Jonas Maksvytis, Kipras Mašanauskas, and Iveta Macevičiūtė, all capable of handling any creative task. One of the BPF projects will be awarded a prize of sound post-production services worth 2000 euros.

SHORT RIGA Test Screenings Award

Participation rights for the SHORT RIGA Test Screenings 2026 / 2027

SHORT RIGA Test Screenings, taking place in the context of Riga International Film Festival, is an industry programme aimed at short film projects in works-in-progress stage from the Baltics and invited countries. SHORT RIGA Test Screenings offers a valuable platform for filmmakers to connect with potential distribution and sales partners, to secure a festival premiere, and to enter the international festival circuit – all within a focused environment designed for networking and feedback.

At the Baltic Pitching Forum, the producer and director of the winning project will be invited to attend SHORT RIGA Test Screenings 2026 or 2027 depending on the project’s timeline.

SHORT RIGA Test Screenings prize recipients benefits from:

  • Editing consultation;
  • On-site pitching training;
  • Individual meetings with the decision makers during the event;
  • Festival & FORUM Pass: free accreditation giving access to RIGA IFF Forum events & full film programme of Riga International Film Festival;
  • Networking cocktail and social events.
